You can now register on the Sporty site for the upcoming season

Players normally register on Sporty for Papanui Softball – then pay your fees to the club in cash or bank transfer.

Ideally all player subs should be paid to the club at the time of registration. If that is not possible – please speak to us so we are aware and can put a plan in place for you. Note – if you are owing subs you will not be eligible for any team or player awards at the end of the season.

Membership Prices

  • TBall and Under 11 – (Oct – Mar) – $70
  • Under 13 and Under 15 and Under 18 – (Oct – Mar) – $90
  • Playing Under 23 only – (Oct – Mar) – $90
  • Open Grade – (Oct – Mar) – $150
  • Premier Reserve –  (Oct – Mar) – $150
  • Premier  –  (Oct – Mar) – $170
  • Full Team Sub – $1600

Registering Multiple Children or Playing in 2 or more Teams?

We want to see our sport thrive and have as many players participating as possible.

If you are planning to play for a junior team and an open grade team – example being playing u18s in the morning, then in an adult team in the afternoons you need to register for both teams. Ensure you put a message in the registration form about this.

The cost if doing this would be 1 x Open grade sub cost + $25 for each additional junior team you plan to play for.

If you are registering multiple children from your immediate family – eg 2 daughters and your son – you may qualify for a family discount. Please get register each child for each team – but get in touch with us so we can let you know the total subs cost.

Membership Process

Sign Up on Sporty – selecting Papanui Softball and your team – if you know it.

Pay your subs directly to Papanui Softball in cash or by bank transfer. When you register we’ll send you details of the clubs account to transfer your sub into.

The Club will then allocate all players into teams and arrange coaches per team. Coaches are all volunteers – so if you would like to help your childs team or just help a team please let us know.

Coaching a Junior Team and Playing yourself = No Subs for you or your child!

Coaches are volunteers who give up their time to train many children in the sport that we love They often play in an adult team as well.

To recognize your commitment, if you are coaching a junior team at Papanui and also playing in a Papanui team in an adult grade, we want to let you play without the need to pay a sub to your adult team.

Bonus! This benefit extends to 1 daughter/son you are coaching. So one of your children will also play for free too!!
